BVL Slo-Pitch Tournament 2011

On August 20, 2011, some of the Dominion (Toronto) staff had the pleasure of participating in the Brampton Volleyball League Slow-Pitch softball tournament. This was the 2nd Annual Tournament and was held in memory of Stefan Spuehler, a former BVL player that passed away in August 2009. All proceeds were placed in an education trust for Stefan’s 3 children.

It was a spectacular day filled with great food, great fun, and sportsmanship. The Dominion team fought hard and played their best, but in the end, fell short and failed to make the playoff round. It was a great event and the Dominion staff enjoyed a day of bonding, bumps and bruises! Special thanks to Jill Dineen for the cookies, there is no way we would have made it through the day without them! We look forward to participating again next year and to do our part in raising money for such a worthy cause.
