Installing a customized SAP system integrated with Dominion Maves WMS, we created a dedicated Customer Service location for transmitting and managing all orders from the client’s various business units. Specially trained for this assignment, dedicated administrative and operations personnel (complete with backup) oversaw warehousing involving ambient, cooler, dangerous goods and pharma-grade rooms within a single complex. A unique, single and simplified costing solution integrating all functions was implemented to realize combined supply chain efficiencies for all client business divisions.

To pick up the pieces and restore distribution services after the client’s logistics provider ceased operations and deliveries had been halted for two weeks.
We devised and implemented an emergency rescue plan that saw after-hours Dominion personnel move the client’s entire inventory (over 100 truckloads) to our Toronto distribution centre over the course of a single weekend. The rescue included the mapping and integration of information systems and the training of customer service and operations personnel.
Within 72 hours of the move, the client’s customer order backlog of more than 200 shipments was current. Our client now enjoys dedicated Dominion services providing them with full-order management and a supply chain network for all of Canada.
