The Challenge
To provide more efficient, cost-effective logistics for the client’s decorating products category, which includes many hazardous products. The client operates a complex distribution system in which a variety of third-party logistics providers in select product categories take part. The challenges include lengthy lead times, many small replenishment orders and a considerable transportation surcharge. Our assignment was to improve performance by simplifying one corner of the system.
The Solution
